The Support for Research Excellence (SuRE) Award funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) supports faculty investigators with prior experience in leading externally-funded, independent research in biomedical sciences. Applicants must be program directors or principal investigators in a U.S.- based institution. Individuals from diverse backgrounds, including underrepresented racial and ethnic groups, individuals with disabilities, and women are encouraged to apply.

Direct costs of up to 100,000 USD/year will be funded for up to 4 years. Applications are due on May 26, 2023, at 5:00 PM local time of the applicant organization.
