Collaborative Research Using Biosamples from Type 1 Diabetes Clinical Studies Grant (USA)

The Collaborative Research Using Biosamples from Type 1 Diabetes Clinical Studies Grant funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) supports research projects aimed at studying type 1 diabetes etiology and pathogenesis using data and samples from clinical trials and studies. Applicants must be program directors or principal investigators in a U.S.- based institution. Individuals from diverse backgrounds, including underrepresented racial and ethnic groups, individuals with disabilities, and women are encouraged to apply. Direct costs (exclusive of facilities and administrative (F&A) costs) of up to 1,000,000 USD/year will be funded for up to 3 years.

The deadline for the letter of intent (LOI) is September 26, 2023. The submission of the full application is due on October 26, 2023, at 5:00 PM local time of the applicant organization.
