Underrepresented Minority Medical Student Research Program (blood cancer | USA)

The Underrepresented Minority Medical Student Research Program from the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) supports minority medical students with opportunities to experience cutting-edge research alongside experienced blood cancer scientists. Applicants must be 2nd - 4th year medical students at an LCME-accredited medical school. Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents and belong to underrepresented groups in biomedical research, including Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino(a), American Indian/Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian/other Pacific Islander. The program includes 1 year of laboratory research, $75,000 for living expenses and up to $5,000 for relocation costs.
