VinFuture Special Prize for Innovators from Developing Country(ies)

The VinFuture Special Prize for Innovators from Developing Country(ies) recognizes researchers and innovators working in developing countries, in both academia and in industry, whose work have led to advancements in the UN´s sustainable development goals. The recognized work should be the underpinning technology and led to solutions that have the potential to benefit millions of people in the coming years. Nominations are open to prominent academic institutions, academies of science and technology, scientific associations/networks, corporations and industries, innovation incubators and from prominent individuals in related areas. See the full list of developing countries. The Prize is awarded annually and comprises 500,000 USD. Nominations open in February and close mid May. The next nomination deadline is on May 15, 2023.
