Judy is passionate about research and researchers - so much so that she launched scientifyRESEARCH to help researchers have better access to funding information. Judy has over 20 years of experience in working with researchers, both as a researcher and as a scientific editor/publisher in multiple countries, including the USA, New Zealand, Australia, Germany, Switzerland and Sweden.
Kate joins scientifyRESEARCH as Co-founder after 8 years with an open access publisher in Switzerland and the USA and a former profession as a Child Life Specialist. She is keen to accelerate scientific discovery worldwide with tools to increase efficiency at the funding stage. She sees this role as a culmination of her two careers, bridging experience as a helping professional and publishing knowledge. Kate is dedicated to open science and food.
Anara is a Doctor of Dental Science, Assistant Professor, and biomedical scientist with more than 15 years of experience in teaching biomedical subjects at Nazarbayev University, Kazakhstan. She did her PhD in Hiroshima University, Japan. She is passionate about studies improving the quality of human health and in facilitating the success of research and researchers.
Shrujana is a Medical Language Specialist with more than 8 years of experience in medical transcription before moving to Sweden. She is currently a final year student at the IT Högskolan in Sweden with a focus on frontend development. She is passionate about technology, design and learning new things. Shrujana loves gardening and a good lifestyle with yoga and Ayurveda.
Rossella is passionate about social networks, science and sustainability. She has a Bachelor´s Degree in Literature, Art and Communication from The University of Verona. She is currently in Stockholm as part of the Erasmus+ Programme. When not working with researchers, Rossella loves cooking and strives for a sustainable lifestyle.
Lisa just finished her Master's thesis in entrepreneurial marketing and is in Stockholm as an Erasmus+ intern. She is passionate about writing, entrepreneurship and sustainability. When she is not sitting in front of the keyboard, she likes to try out new vegan recipes and going to concerts and festivals.
Viviana is a medical scientist with more than 20 years of experience in biomedical research. She did her PhD in Argentina before moving to Australia to continue her research career and is currently based at the QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute. She is passionate about improving human health by developing novel therapeutic strategies for the treatment of chronic inflammatory diseases. She also has vast experience in proofreading, editing and reviewing scientific articles and she is fluent in Spanish and English.
Our Advisors
Michelle is an Emmy-nominated journalist and communications consultant who is passionate about science, green tech and innovations that support environmental resilience. She has spent the last 25 years working with clients all over the world to develop strategic communication plans that range from product and brand launches, to boosting online audiences and customer engagement, to creating personal brands for C-Levels.
Aida has over 10 years of international experience (Italy, Sweden, Switzerland) in biomedical research, project management and science communication, and currently leads the Research Strategy & Communication Office at the San Raffaele Telethon Institute for Gene Therapy. She is passionate about improving the way academic research is managed, assessed and shared, with a special focus on the role of early career scientists.
Natasha is a chemical engineering PhD student at Texas A&M University whose research centers around designing more sustainable and resilient chemical processes. She is also passionate about increasing the visibility of scientific research to the widest audience possible, through supporting science communication training for graduate students and promoting open access publishing.
Suyuan Chen is a chemical biologist for chemical proteomics research at the Leibniz-Institut für Analytische Wissenschaften – ISAS e.V. in Germany, whose interests are developing chemical tools for proteomics and structural proteomics research, drug targets and binding sites identification, as well as state-of-the-art technology for drug discovery. He is also enthusiastic about promoting better career development for scientists.
