Impostor syndrome is a common yet often overlooked barrier to performance and well-being in academia. This workshop combines psychological insight with practical reflection to help researchers recognize impostor patterns, reframe limiting beliefs, and build confidence rooted in self-awareness and authenticity.

Participants will gain practical strategies to transform self-doubt into clarity and confidence, enhancing their ability to communicate their strengths and thrive in research environments.

This workshop can be tailored to your institutional needs and delivered either online or in person.


The session can range from a concise 2-hour introduction to a full-day interactive workshop, incorporating reflective exercises and mindset tools. The training package may be complemented with optional 1:1 coaching sessions focused on personalized confidence-building strategies.

 

Participants will: 

  1. Recognize impostor triggers and thought patterns

    Participants will learn to identify common academic situations that activate feelings of self-doubt and approach them with awareness and compassion.

  2. Reframe limiting beliefs and strengthen mindset

    Participants will explore how unaddressed self-criticism affects performance and motivation, and practice evidence-based techniques to reframe thoughts and build psychological resilience.

  3. Build authentic confidence and self-expression

    Participants will gain practical communication and reflection tools to express their expertise with clarity, celebrate achievements, and sustain confidence across their academic careers.
