The Career Real Talk for Researchers is organized by the German Scholars Organization for researchers in all disciplines who are interested in research careers in Germany. You should, or will soon, have a PhD. In this free online meeting divided over two afternoons, you will better understand:

  • What to expect as a (new) Group Leader/Professor (in the German system)
  • Grants & publications
  • Careers beyond academia
  • Dealing with discrimination & power abuse
  • Good mentorship: Finding mentors, being a mentor
  • Navigating politics as a new group leader/Professor (focus on Germany)

When: June 16 – 17, 2022, 3 – 7 pm CEST.
