The Alzheimer Society of Canada is a charitable organization that supports and funds dementia researchers with an aim to create a world without Alzheimer´s and other dementia. The Alzheimer Society of Canada has a special research program through which it offers funding to encourage researchers to explore new ways to advance dementia research and ultimately improve the lives of people suffering from dementia. Apart from basic science and clinical research, the Alzheimer Society also provides research grants for social science research and psychosocial interventions involved in Alzheimer’s care. The Society funds Doctoral, Postdoctoral, the New Investigator Operating Grant and the Proof of Concept Grants.
