The Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM) is a US-based learned society for women and girls in the mathematical sciences. The Society´s mission is to promote equal opportunity and the equal treatment of women and girls in the mathematical sciences. The Society supports women mathematicians in the USA and worldwide with travel grants and achievement prizes to promote a more equitable society.
