Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions

The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) is part of the European Union´s research funding program, Horizon Europe and is the EU´s flagship funding program for doctoral education and postdoctoral training. The Actions fund excellent research and innovation, and support researchers at all career stages with new skills and knowledge. A key aspect of the MSCA is the support for knowledge exchange through mobility across borders.

Funding mechansims in the MSCA include:

  • Doctoral Networks for doctoral education
  • Postdoctoral Fellowships for postdoctoral training
  • Staff Exchanges for knowledge exchange and further training
  • COFUND programme whereby co-funding is provided by regional, national and international programmes
  • MSCA and Citizensfor fostering science communication with the general public
