Soft Bones, Inc., The U.S. Hypophosphatasia Foundation is a US-based non-profit patient advocacy group dedicated to the community of patients, caregivers and families living with hypophosphatasia (HPP). The mission of Soft Bones, Inc. is to provide valuable information, education and support for people living with HPP, their families and caregivers. The Foundation promotes research to better understand HPP with the goal of finding a cure. The supported areas are:

  • Gene therapy and gene editing;
  • CoRDS International HPP Contact Registry – Researcher access;
  • Research of new therapies or improvement to existing therapy;
  • New HPP investigators through annual $25,000 seed grant;
  • HPP scientific exchange through other grants;
  • HPP TeleECHO series program.
