Warren Alpert Foundation

The Warren Alpert Foundation is dedicated to improving the health of the public through grants and programs that support basic research, translational and outcomes research as well as through health education. The Foundation provides several funding schemes, including The Warren Alpert Distinguished Scholars program aims to support individual scientists of exceptional creativity who have an MD or PhD degree. The Warren Alpert Prize recognizes one or more scientists, physicians and researchers whose scientific achievements have led to the prevention, cure or treatment of human diseases or disorders. The Prize is awarded in association with Harvard Medical School.
