ACS Award for Encouraging Women into Careers in the Chemical Sciences
The ACS Award for Encouraging Women into Careers in the Chemical Sciences is sponsored by The Camille and Henry Dreyfus Foundation, and recognizes the accomplishments of individuals who have supported and empowered women´s interest in the chemical sciences and paving the way for careers as chemists or chemical engineers. Nominees may be from any professional setting, including and not limited to academia, industry, and government. The Award consists of 5,000 USD and certificate for the recipient, 10,000 USD for an institution designated by the recipient - to strengthen the careers of women in chemical sciences, and up to 1,5000 USD for travel expenses for attending the meeting at which the award will be presented. Annual nomination period between July 1 to November 1.
