The ADB Visiting Fellow Program from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) provides an opportunity for PhD researchers and PhD candidates to work with ADB staff and share their ongoing economic research in ADB headquarters in Manila, Philippines. The ongoing research or research proposal must be on a topic of relevance to ADB. The topics are: Poverty and inequality; Jobs, skills, and future of work; Digital economy; Economic integration; Climate change; and Macro and financial stability.

The program lasts from 5 to 20 working days. The grant covers: reimbursement of airfare, an office space for the duration of the visit; and Per diem and allowance to cover hotel costs, daily subsistence, and other travel-related expenses; a modest honorarium. Applications will be reviewed each calendar quarter, and responses will be sent out a month after the end of each quarter.

The next applications close on June 30, 2024.
