The Alzheimer's Association Research Grant (AARG) supports early-career investigators who are less than 18 years past their doctoral degree or post-residency (M.D. or D.O.) with funding that will allow them to develop preliminary or pilot data, to test procedures and to develop hypotheses. The intent is to support early-career development that will lay the groundwork for future research grant applications to federal or other funding entities. Applicants must be an Assistant Professor or Associate Professor at their respective academic institution. Applicants may be based in the USA or internationally. The grant provides up to 200,000 USD, including direct and indirect costs for costs related to the proposed research for up to three years.

The letters of intent are due on February 28, 2024 and invited full applications are due on May 1, 2024.
