APSF-FAER Mentored Research Training Grants (anesthesiology USA)

The APSF-FAER Mentored Research Training Grants are funded by the Foundation for Anesthesia Education and Research (FAER) and  Anesthesia Patient Safety Foundation (APSF) to support the next generation of perioperative patient safety scientists. The Grants enable anesthesiologists to develop the skills and preliminary data they need to become independent investigators in the field of anesthesia patient safety. Applications are open to anesthesiologist faculty members who is within 10 years of their first faculty appointment, in the USA. Applicants must be a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA). Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, permanent U.S. resident, or holder of H-1 visa with minimum of three years remaining. (A J-1 visa holder does not qualify.)

Applicants may apply for up to 300,000 USD for 2 years (no indirect costs). The letters of intent (LOI) are due on January 1, 2023. Invited full applications are due on February 15, 2023.
