ARISC Conference Travel Grants 2023-24 (Social Sciences | South Caucasus)
The ARISC Conference Travel Grants 2023-24 from the American Research Institute of the South Caucasus (ARISC) promote cooperation and exchange among South Caucasus and U.S. researchers. The Grants support Armenian, Azerbaijani, and Georgian scholars and PhD students living in the South Caucasus to present research at scholarly conferences or workshops in the U.S. The applicants must be citizens of Armenia, Azerbaijan, or Georgia and live in these countries.
The ARISC Travel Grant provides travel costs up to $3,000 USD. This grant is eligible for presentation of papers, organization of panels, active participation in workshops that include topics relevant to area studies of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and/or Georgia at scholarly conferences or workshops in the U.S. for PhD students (doctoral candidates), or Scholars.
Deadline: Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. It is recommended to submit at least four months in advance of the conference or workshop. Complete applications must be submitted to ARISC no later than three months prior to the event date.
