The Bone Marrow Failure Research Program: Investigator-Initiated Research Award from the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP) supports research on bone marrow failure with two funding levels. The program is open to researchers in the USA and worldwide.

  • Funding Level 1 (FL1): To support studies that further develop mature ideas, expand upon key discoveries, and have the potential to make significant advances in research and/or patient care in the FY24 BMFRP Focus Areas. Applicants may apply for up to 675,000 USD for 3 years.
  • Funding Level 2 (FL2): To support Investigational New Drug (IND) application-enabling efforts. Applicants may apply for up to 850,000 USD for 2 years.
