The EUROGIA CALL26 from Eureka supports organizations in transnational collaborative R&D projects in the energy field to achieve carbon neutrality goals. Through low-carbon technology R&D solutions, Eurogia aims to contribute to a sustainable environment for climate change reduction and sustainable growth. The project should generate advantages and added value resulting from the technological cooperation (new technologies, standardization, prototyping, field trials, new or improved products, increased knowledge, access to R&D infrastructure etc.). The product, process or service must be innovative and there must be a technological risk involved.

The project consortium must include at least two companies from different Eureka countries listed in this call – Austria, Belgium (Wallonia), Canada, Chile, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Israel, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Türkiye and the United Kingdom. The participation of research institutes/universities is welcome according to each country’s funding regulations.

The scope of this call for projects includes:

  • Offshore wind turbines, bioenergy, solar panels, fuel cells power to-X, energy storage
  • Hydrogen fuel cell (production, storage, station)
  • CO2 capture, sequestration and utilisation
  • Green and zero-emission buildings, smart cities, heating
  • IT solutions in buildings, smart monitoring, 3D construction, digital twins in housing design
  • Smart grids, micro-grids, E-mobility, smart cities
  • Monitoring of the environment and bioresources
  • Other low-carbon technologies addressing Eurogia’s 5Ds strategy

The funding amount and projects period range by countries’ national funding bodies.
