Career Transition Grants (transplantation | USA, Canada, Mexico)

The Career Transition Grants from the American Society of Transplantation (AST) supports the careers of academic investigators whose independent research program is focused on the field of basic science, translational and clinical investigation in solid organ transplantation. The grants are intended to provide support for the investigator’s transition to an R-series or equivalent grant. Applicants must be AST members and no more than 8 years from the time of initial faculty appointment as an instructor or Assistant Professor and must be functioning as an independent investigator. The proposed work must be conducted in North America. Applicants must have the legal right to work at the proposed institution. The grant provides 125,000 USD for 2 years (no institutional overheads). Applications are due on June 15, 2023.
