The Cities of Tomorrow R&D Programme, RIE2025 – Grant Call 4 (Vertical 3 – New Spaces) – Project 1: Development of a Holistic Underground Fire Compartmentalization System that can Withstand Burnout without Collapse from the National Research Foundation (NRF) of Singapore supports innovative solutions for future cities, specifically on fire safety materials/systems. Applicants must be from Singapore-based Institutions of Higher Learning (IHLs), companies, company-affiliated research laboratories or institutions and not-for-profit entities. Grant applicants are strongly encouraged to collaborate with industry partners to develop innovative solutions that can address the call objectives and demonstrate strong potential for real-world application within and beyond Singapore. Applicants may apply for up to 4.8 million SGD (including 30% indirect costs) for 3 years.
