The Climate Change and Human Health Seed Grant from the Burroughs Wellcome Fund seeks to bring together researchers from multiple disciplines to address the effect of climate change on human health. Research proposals should bring about interactions between basic biomedical research and ecological, environmental, geological, geographic, and planetary-scale thinking, as well as with population-focused fields including epidemiology and public health, demography, economics, and urban planning with the goals of reducing the impact of healthcare-related activities, or the impact of extreme weather on human health. The research must be conducted in the USA or Canada. Applicants may apply for up to 50,000 USD (no indirect costs).
Applications are assessed on a rolling basis and the next closing date is on July 12, 2023
