The Climate Impact Science Research (CISR) Programme Call 2 from the National Environment Agency (NEA) Singapore provides funding for organizations to develop scientific capability in climate impact research in Singapore, and to support the development of climate adaptation policies. This call aims to address key knowledge gaps in the following areas: i) water resources; ii) sea level rise and impacts on maritime infrastructure and transport sector, iii) food security and iv) impacts of warming trends on human health (heat & vectors).
The amount of funding ranges from 100% to 30% of qualifying project cost depending on the organization type. Institutes of Higher Learning/Research Institutes, Singapore Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), Singapore Start-ups, Singapore Not-for-profits, Large Local Enterprises, Non-Singapore private sector entities (including not-for-profits) are eligible to apply. Applicants may apply for funding for projects for up to 48 months.
