The Clinical Cancer Research program from the Rising Tide Foundation for Clinical Cancer Research (RTFCCR) supports patient-centered clinical trials that can improve the quality of lives of cancer patients. This program aims to fund projects focused on detection, treatment, and survivorship. Funding is targeted for phase I to phase III interventional clinical trials, and basic research, phase IV trials, or observational and epidemiological studies are not funded.
The principal investigator for a project must hold a doctoral degree, have completed a postdoctoral training fellowship, and have a faculty appointment (or equivalent) with an academic institution, including research institutions that are not formally associated with a university. RTFCCR encourages both new and established investigators to apply.
Projects are funded for up to five years. Letters of intent are accepted throughout the year, and the applications are assessed three times per year. The next application deadline is on March 8, 2024.
