Clinical Research Support Grants (US | Canada oral and maxillofacial surgery)

The Clinical Research Support Grants from the OMS Foundation provide funding for patient-oriented clinical research in oral and maxillofacial surgery. The 2022 cycle is focused on research that addresses dental implants or anesthesia and patient safety. Applicants must have a doctoral degree and at least one applicant on the application must have completed an oral and maxillofacial surgery training program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association (CODA). The oral and maxillofacial surgeon on the application must be a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) and must be a donor to the OMS Foundation. Applicants must be citizens or non-citizen nationals of the USA or Canada. The grant consists of research funding at 75,000 USD per year for 2 years and does not cover indirect costs. Applications close on August 31, 2022.
