Clinical Research Training Scholarships (neurology worldwide)

The Clinical Research Training Scholarships funded by the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) is intended for early-career neurologists interested in an academic career in clinical, basic, or translational neurological research. Applicants must have completed their residency or PhD within the past 5 years. Applicants must be members of the AAN and based at accredited neurology institutions in the USA or internationally. The Award provides 65,000 USD/year for 2 years. This is an annual award and the next applications close on September 1, 2022.

The Clinical Research Training Scholarships cover several neurological disease areas, including:

  • Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)
  • Frontotemporal Degeneration
  • Lewy Body Diseases
  • Migraine
  • Muscular Dystrophy
  • Neurodisparities
  • Neuromuscular Disease
  • Parkinson’s Disease
  • Tourette Syndrome
  • Cognitive Aging and Age-Related Memory Loss
  • Alzheimer’s and Dementia Research
  • Epilepsy
