Conference Grants (Denmark | natural and social sciences)

The Conference Grants from the Carlsberg Foundation support international conferences in Denmark, specifically to support the participation of leading international researchers, young postdoctoral fellows, and outstanding PhD students. The grant is not intended for individual applicants but for those organizing scientific conferences in Denmark. The grant may be used for:

  • Accommodation and travel for international researchers, postdoctoral fellows, and PhD students
  • Salaries for student assistance in connection with the conference/workshop
  • Rental of facilities in connection with the conference/workshop
  • Catering during the conference/workshop

The main applicant must be at least at the postdoctoral level at a Danish research institution. Funds of up to 60,000 DKK is available per event. Processing time is around 3 months. Applications are assessed on a rolling basis and applicants are invited to apply with more than sufficient time for processing.
