The Cooperation Japan (JSPS) – Joint seminars from the Dutch Research Council (NWO) and the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) support Dutch researchers who want to cooperate with colleagues in Japan. It offers the possibility of a joint seminar in the Netherlands or Japan. Dutch researchers who hold a PhD degree and a tenured position at one of the following knowledge institutions can submit an application: universities established in the Kingdom of the Netherlands; university medical centres; KNAW and NWO institutes; the Netherlands Cancer Institute; the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics in Nijmegen; DUBBLE Beamline at the ESRF in Grenoble; Naturalis Biodiversity Center; Advanced Research Centre for NanoLithography (ARCNL); Princess Máxima Center. Applicants may apply for funding support of up to 15,000 EUR for the bilateral organisation of a joint seminar in the Netherlands or Japan with a maximum duration of one week and for a maximum of 10 participants per country. 

Applications are due on September 3, 2024.
