Skip Ellis Early Career Award (USA Canada | computer and engineering)
The Skip Ellis Early Career Award (SEECA) from the Computing Research Association’s Committee on Widening Participation in Computing Research (CRA-WP) aims to recognize early-career individuals of a group underrepresented in computing. Who has made significant research contributions in computer science and/or engineering and has also contributed to the profession, especially in outreach to underrepresented populations. The groups are African-American, Latino, Native American/First Peoples, and/or People with Disabilities.
The nominee must be an early-career (no more than 8 years post PhD) faculty member or researcher affiliated with an institution, industry lab, or government lab in the United States, its territories, or Canada.
This is an annual award and the next nominations close on January 30, 2024.
