Damon Runyon-Rachleff Innovation Award (cancer research)

The Damon Runyon-Rachleff Innovation Award from the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation seeks to fund “high-risk/high-reward”, innovative ideas that would have a significant impact on cancer prevention, diagnosis, or treatment. Research must be conducted at a US-based institution. Applicants must belong to one of the following three categories: Tenure-track Assistant Professors, Clinical Instructors / Senior Clinical Fellows, or Distinguished Fellows (i.e. investigators with an established track record of high impact research). The Award consists of 200,000 USD/year of direct costs for 2 years and the opportunity for an extension of 2 years. Indirect costs and institutional overheads are NOT allowed with this Award. Applications close on July 6, 2022.
