EACR-AstraZeneca Postdoctoral Fellowships (Europe)

The EACR-AstraZeneca Postdoctoral Fellowships are provided by the European Association for Cancer Research (EACR) and AstraZeneca, to support postdoctoral researchers in cancer research. Applicants must be members of the EACR and are based at research institutions in Europe. The project should have translational with direct applicability in the following areas: haematology, breast, lung, prostate, pancreatic, gastric, ovarian, liver, colorectal or paediatric cancer. The focus of the research area should be in:

  • Cell Therapy
  • Immune-modulating therapies
  • Tumour driver
  • Mechanisms of resistance to therapy
  • Mechanisms of sensitivity/resistance to PARP inhibitors and other DNA Damage Response inhibitors
  • Novel approaches to drugging intractable targets
  • Mechanisms of sensitivity and resistance to antibody-drug conjugates
  • Epigenetics

The fellowship provides 36 months of funding support with an annual stipend that is the mid-point postdoctoral salary at the host institution up to 70,000 EUR. The funding also provides an additional 25% to cover the host institution´s overheads. Letters of intent are due on February 15, 2023 and invited full applications are due on July 5, 2023.
