Early Detection and Diagnosis Programme Award (UK cancer researchers)

The Early Detection and Diagnosis Programme Award from Cancer Research UK (CRUK) provides funding for established researchers in the UK to innovate in the areas of early cancer detection and diagnosis. Awards are intended for long-term research programmes that transform the way cancer is detected and diagnosed.

Applicants must be:

  • A scientist, clinician or healthcare worker
  • Based at a UK university, medical school, hospital, CRUK Institute or other research institution for the duration of the award
  • Able to demonstrate extensive postdoctoral experience and ability to successfully run an independent research group

Applicants may apply for up to 2.5 million GBP in funding.
