Early Detection and Diagnosis Project Award (UK cancer research)

The Early Detection and Diagnosis Project Award from Cancer Research UK (CRUK) provides funding for independent researchers in the UK to innovate in the areas of early cancer detection and diagnosis. Applications are open to independent researchers in the UK with either clinical or non-clinical research experience. Multi-institutional proposals are welcome and awards can be held across institutions in the UK. Supporting roles (co-investigators/collaborators) from international and commercial organisations are welcome. The Award provides funding of up to 500,000 GBP over a period of 4 years. Funds may be used to support postdoctoral fellows, PhD students (stipend, fees and running expenses), technical staff, associated running expenses and research equipment.

This is a bi-annual award and the next applications close on June 15, 2023.
