EMBO Workshops (life science)

The EMBO Workshop grants are funded by European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) and provide funding for workshops in the life sciences to promote scientific knowledge exchange. Organizers may be of any nationality and can be based in any country but the workshops must take place in an EMBC Member State, an EMBC Associate Member State, in countries and territories covered by a cooperation agreement or in countries eligible for support by EMBO and The Company of Biologists (see the full list of countries). Workshops should take place between 2.5 to 5 days and should attract between 80 and 450 participants. Applicants may apply for up to 39,000 EUR in funding support. There are two application rounds per year, closing on March 1 and August 1.
