Emeritus Fellowships (UK – all disciplines)

The Emeritus Fellowships from the Leverhulme Trust provide funding for senior UK-based researchers who have retired and require funding to complete a research project and prepare the results for publication. Proposals from all disciplines will be considered except for those with widely available alternative sources of funding: biomedical research for human or animal diseases and research with clinical applications. Applicants must currently reside in the UK and be employed by a UK-based research institution at the time of retirement. Fellowship funds cover 24,000 GBP for research expenses for a period of 3-24 months (direct costs only). This is an annual award and the next applications open on September 1, 2022 and close on February 2, 2023.
