Environmental & Exercise Physiology Section Impact Award (worldwide)
The Environmental & Exercise Physiology Section Impact Award from the American Physiological Society recognizes a mid-career primary EEP member who has either carried out impactful research or has made a seminal discovery in the areas of environmental, exercise, thermal, or applied physiology, and has contributed as a collegial citizen of the EEP and/or scientific community.
Applicants, at the time of application, must be associate professors or full professors within 10 years of their appointment as an associate professor (or a comparable position in a research track at an academic institution or in industry). Applicants must be a member of the Society with primary affiliation with the EEP Section and must be an established investigator. A letter of Nomination from a current EEP section member is required for application.
There are no US residency requirements. The award provides 1,000 USD and reimbursement of the advanced registration to the APS Annual meeting. This is an annual award and the next nominations close on March 1, 2023.
