The EMS Committee for Developing Countries from the European Mathematical Society (EMS) assists developing countries with funding support. Examples of funding use are: developing mathematics curricula, libraries and sources of support funds. Funds are primarily used for

  • Financial support to individuals to attend workshops and conferences worldwide.
  • Funding for meetings: Organisers of mathematical meetings and events to be held in the Global South

The grants range from 1000 to 2000 EUR. This is a biannual grant. Applications are due on March 15 or September 15 each year.

The next applications are due March 15, 2024.
