Fulbright Schuman Program – Fulbright-NATO Security Studies Award (NATO citizens | USA)

The Fulbright Schuman Program from the Fulbright Commission in Belgium supports EU citizens with scholarships for research in the United States with a focus on EU affairs/policy, or the US-EU transatlantic agenda. The Fulbright-NATO Security Studies Award support post-doctoral researchers, professors and professionals to conduct research and/or lecture at a U.S. institution for a period of three months in fields of study with a connection to NATO, including but not limited to cybersecurity, military history, nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation, peace and security, security studies, and transatlantic studies. Applicants must be citizens of a NATO country. The award provides:

  • Scholarship of up to 9000 EUR for 3 months
  • Travel stipend of 2000 euro (USD equivalent)
  • J-1 visa sponsorship
  • Health benefit plan
