The Team Grant : HIV/AIDS and STBBI Community-Based Research from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) supports Community-Based Research (CBR) teams. The program aims to improve health outcomes for key populations disproportionately affected by sexually transmitted and blood-borne infection (STBBI) in Canada.
Funding will be made available in two stages: Letter of Intent (LOI) stage to support building community-centered teams and developing full applications; and Full Application Stage for applicants successful at the LOI stage.
The funding at the LOI stage is a maximum amount of 100,000 CAD per grant for a total of 1 year. Approximately 25 grants will be funded.
The funding at the full application stage is a maximum amount of 200,000 CAD per year for up to 5 years, for a total of 1,000,000 CAD per grant. Approximately 15 grants will be funded.
LOI Application deadline is June 13, 2024.
Full application deadline is September 4, 2024.
