The Human Health and Potential Domain: Industry Alignment Fund – Pre-positioning Programme (IAF-PP) from the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) aims to develop industry-ready capabilities to enhance the alignment of public sector research in the Health and Biomedical Sciences domain, with early industry involvement. Programs supported by this grant are expected to foster industry participation within 3-5 years, focusing on new and existing programs demonstrating strong potential for industry collaboration. Projects should align with themes and strategies within the Health and Biomedical Sciences domain.

Eligibility: Programme Director/Lead Principal Investigator must:

  • Hold at least 0.7 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) primary appointment in a Singapore publicly funded research or tertiary education institution.
  • Lead a laboratory or research program conducting research in Singapore.
  • Demonstrate a track record of leadership in coordinating research programs, providing mentorship to research teams, and achieving productive research outcomes.

The maximum duration of HHP IAF-PP projects is 5 years (60 months). Applications are accepted throughout the year but will be evaluated on a quarterly basis.
