The International Science Partnerships Fund International Collaboration Awards ODA Brazil and South Africa from The Royal Society support outstanding emerging research leaders in the UK to develop research collaborations with international partners. In this funding call, for collaborations with researchers in Brazil or South Africa, the research proposed must contribute to the UK’s Official Development Assistance (ODA) objective. Applicants must be newly independent UK-based researchers building their own research group. The awards provide 225,000 GBP over 3 years and may be used to cover:

  • research expenses
  • travel and subsistence for the applicants or members of their team
  • contribution towards research assistance
  • technical and non-technical training

Applications close on June 25, 2024.
