JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship (UK PhDs in Japan)

The JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship from The Royal Society, supports UK PhD graduates to continue their postdoctoral training in Japan. The Fellowship is funded by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS). The Fellowship is for recent PhD graduates in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Applicants should have completed their PhD within 6 years of the Fellowship start date, are residents in the UK, are citizens of countries that have diplomatic ties with Japan, and have a research proposal agreed with a Japanese host scientist. The Fellowship provides 362,000 JPY/month for up to 2 years + additional benefits. Applications close on March 3, 2023.
