Letten Prize (health and environment worldwide)

The Letten Prize is a collaboration between the Letten Foundation and The Young Academy of Norway. The Prize recognizes early-career researchers’ contributions in the fields of health, development, environment and equality in all aspects of human life. The prize also aims to raise public awareness of how research can be used to solve global human development challenges. The awardee’s research should have:

  • addressed global challenges within the fields of health, development, environment and equality in all aspects of human life
  • great societal relevance

The Prize consists of 2.5 million NOK, a quarter of which is for personal use and three quarters for research activities. This is a biennial award and the next applications close on February 6, 2023.
