Lewis and Clark Fund for Exploration and Field Research (USA | PhD students)

The Lewis and Clark Fund for Exploration and Field Research funded by the American Philosophical Society supports PhD students´ field specimen and data collection efforts. Applications are encouraged from disciplines with a significant dependence on field studies, such as archaeology, anthropology, biology, ecology, geography, geology, linguistics, paleontology, and population genetics, but grants will not be restricted to these fields. US citizens and permanent residents may use the funds in the USA or abroad; non-US applicants must carry out their research in the USA. Applicants may apply for up to 5000 USD. Letters of support are due on November 11, 2022. Applications close on November 15, 2022.
