James C. McGroddy Prize for New Materials (worldwide)

The James C. McGroddy Prize for New Materials from the American Physical Society (APS) recognizes outstanding achievement in the science and application of new materials. The prize consists of $10,000, an allowance for the recipient to travel to a meeting of the Society to receive the award, and a certificate citing the contributions made by the recipient. The prize is awarded annually.
