Mentored Research Career Development Awards (vascular surgery USA)

The Mentored Research Career Development Awards from the Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS) supplements funding for vascular surgeons who are recipients of the mentored research career development award from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) or the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ). The candidate must be an active or candidate member of the Society and a Fellow or Associate Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (ACS). The Award provides 50,000 USD/year for up to 5 years, which may be used as salary or research funding but not as travel funds (no indirect costs). Applications are assessed three times per year and close on February 12, June 12 and October 12. The next applications close on February 12, 2023.
