The Mentoring Award from the American Contact Dermatitis Society supports young dermatologists including dermatology residents, dermatology fellows, or dermatologist up to 5 years out of residency to become leaders/experts in the field of contact dermatitis by acquiring additional academic skills which may not be available at their training institutions. Applications are open to medical students, residents and fellows, and dermatologists or investigators within the first five years of their practice. Either the applicant or the sponsor must be a member of the American Contact Dermatitis Society. Applicants may apply for up to 3000 USD. Budgeted items may include expenses related to travel and research, but may not include items as software, books, lab materials or registration fees for meetings or travel to meetings. No indirect costs will be allowed.
This is a biannual award, with closing dates on April 15 and October 15. The next applications close on October 15, 2023.
