The CAAIF Research Fellowship in Asthma, offered by the Canadian Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Foundation (CAAIF) and GSK, supports promising researchers to produce high-quality research in asthma. Applicant must be a postdoctoral fellow in a research-based fellowship or undertaking full-time research training. Residents completing their Allergy and Clinical Immunology training are not eligible to hold this Fellowship. Also, the applicant must have an MD degree and is expected to pursue a career in respiratory-related research upon completion of post-doctoral training.
The award must be held at a Canadian university or research institute defined as an eligible institution by CIHR.
The award provides 50,000 CAD for one year, non-renewable.
The deadline for applications is September 30, 2024.
