Project Grants for research within Industrial Biotechnology and Environmental Biotechnology (Nordics)
The Project Grants for research within Industrial Biotechnology and Environmental Biotechnology from the Novo Nordisk Fonden provide funding for researchers working on industrial biotechnology and environmental biotechnology in Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, or Sweden). The proposed research must have a clear element of biotechnology, with scaling potential and contributing to productivity and sustainability. Applicants may apply for up to 4 million DKK for up to 3 years. Funds may be used for:
- Salary for scientific and technical employees
- PhD Tuition Fee
- Equipment
- Collaborative activities
- Conference participation
- Operating costs
- Publication costs
- Administrative support of up to 5% of the total budget (must be directly related to the project)
