Project Grants (UK diabetes research)
The Project Grants from Diabetes UK provide funding for high-quality, hypothesis-driven diabetes research projects. Specifically, the Foundation seeks proposals that address:
- Reducing sight loss in people living with diabetes
- Identifying and addressing problematic polypharmacy in people with diabetes
The principal investigator should have a tenured faculty appointment at a UK research institution or can demonstrate a salary source for the duration of the grant. Applicants may apply for up to 500,000 GBP over 5 years (direct costs only). There are two independent assessment rounds with closing dates in June and December.
